SADLY DUE TO SPREAD TO THE LIVER, THE PANCREAS CANCER IS WINNING THE BATTLE. OUR TEAM OF ONCOLOGISTS TELLS US THE AVERGE SURVIVAL AT THIS POINT IS 8 MONTHS, WITH A RANGE OF 5 TO 11 MONTHS BASED ON DATA COLLECTED IN THE PAST 10 YEARS.
DUE TO THE LIMITED TIME THAT DR LAUER HAS, WE'VE MADE THE PAINFUL AND RESPONSIBLE DECISION TO CLOSE THE MEDICAL PRACTICE. OCTOBER 27, 2024 IS 90 DAYS FROM THE OFFICIAL NOTICE OF JULY 29TH, THAT WE MUST CLOSE TWIN CITY FAMILY MEDICINE PERMANENTLY. Due to the ongoing health struggles, he is no longer able to see patients and unfortunately must cancel all future scheduled appointments with him. If you have an appointment scheduled here, our office will be in touch with you about assisting in transferring your care. If you are experiencing urgent health issues, please call 911 or present to an Emergency Department in addition to transferring your care to a different provider. Twin City Family Medicine will remain staffed until October 27, 2024 to assist patients with transferring their care.
